Emily Gover

Emily emigrated to the UK in 2004 to complete her veterinary training. She has been working at Vale Vets for 6 years, having previously worked in South Wales after qualifying in 2009. She is currently pursuing additional qualifications in exotic pet medicine and has continued to build on her surgical abilities, happily offering laparoscopic procedures, among other advanced techniques. Being able to support clients and provide care for beloved pets, (furry or scaly!) through the various stages of life is what drives her. When not in practice, she loves to hike, cycle, and explore the surrounding countryside with her family. She shares her house with a feisty cat, stroppy rabbits, and an unusual menagerie of frogs, geckos, spiders, snakes, millipedes, and stick insects.
